What a Fabulous Day on the Farm!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make Saturday such a wonderful day. Great music, great food, great vendors, great location, great weather - we couldn't have asked for more!
We had a fun time and we hope you did too. Most exciting, this event continues to grow every year. We had over 800 people join us at Farmer Tom's to learn about - and celebrate - the importance of local farming.

Clean Water, Stronger Communities
1000 Friends is working this summer to understand how we can build a future for Maryland that allows us to thrive economically and environmentally. Over the next few months, a lot of work must happen to ensure cleaner local waters. Counties are drafting plans for cleaning local rivers and streams, and at the state level there is a call for a package of solutions that will help make those plans a reality. We need clean water in our community garden, in the streams where our dogs swim on hot days, at the beaches where our kids play on vacation.
