Internships

1000 Friends accepts rolling applications for fall semester, spring semester, or summer internships.  Interns will assist staff in their campaigns to preserve open space and promote stronger communities.  On a day-to-day basis interns will track legislation, research and assist with reports, write letters to the editor, help organize events, and some office assistance as needed.  

Undergraduate, law, and policy students are encouraged to apply.  Internships are not paid but can be taken for credit.
